Dynamic Sites change depending upon user input. This can be done via a database or in the case of the page your viewing CSS. Cascading Style Sheets or CSS is a powerful tool that we can utilize when building your site. Click on one of the links at the right to completely change the color theme of this page.

Imagine the sheer power of it. You could have as many themes as you want. Holiday themes, seasonal themes, marketing themes. Even silly themes. You could give vision-impaired readers a special accessibility theme. And you could even provide a theme for folks who hate themes. A non-theme!

All-in-all, what we have here is a technique with an off-the-scale wow factor.

Your husband wants your family business web site to look like the Cleveland Browns team uniform, but you prefer something a bit more subtle. Well, you could use this technique to make everyone happy. Just give them all a link to their own preferred style (they can draw straws over whose style is the default). Cookies are set on the visitors browser so that when they return they see the theme they have previously choosen.
